○ Do I need to write/ find my own scene?
No, we can write your scene for you. In fact, we recommend it. Unless you already have an excellent scene that has not already been produced, we suggest having brand new material written for you. We can cater the scene to your specific needs - targeting specific TV shows, or film genres so that you're showcasing your type in its most appropriate setting. Customization  is the reason we do this.
○ What quality will the footage be?
We shoot on a Black Magic camera, which produces full HD cinema quality images - this same camera is used for web series, shorts and indie films across the country. Sound is recorded on and industry standard shotgun mic.
○ How quickly will I receive my footage?
We provide you a first edit of new On Camera scenes/reels within 7 days (usually within 48-72 hours). You then have the option to give us notes, which we will then correct ASAP. If you are on a tight schedule, speak to us and we will do our best to accommodate you!
Musical Theater reels will be available in 3 days, but same day is available for a rush fee.
○ How long will it take to shoot a scene?

We leave 3 hours to shoot a single scene (or monologue). This is to guarantee that we get all the shots and takes necessary. When shooting multiple scenes, we leave 2 hours for each additional scene, and will shoot up to 3 a day.

○ Can I split the cost with someone?

Absolutely. We love cost efficiency. If you and another actor or actors want to split the costs for scenes, we applaud it. We can write scenes for up to 3 featured actors. More than that would incur extra costs as the scene would likely need to be longer and take more time to film. Same is true for sharing time in a studio to record musical theater reels.

○ Is there a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit to hold any shoot times/dates or begin work on an edit.
○ What is your cancellation policy?
We require one week notice for scene production cancellations, and 72 hours for re-schedules.
Musical Theater reel shoots require 48 hours notice.
Less than that may result in loss of deposit.
○ How do you accept payement?
At the moment, we accept cash and Venmo.

Editing

○ How long should my reel be?

We recommend most reels these days to come in around 60-90 seconds, and never over 2 minutes, with few exceptions. CDs and Agents need to see the best of you. If at the end of 90 seconds they're still watching and still want more - they're likely remember you and call you in. If your reel is made right, they won't need that long to see your talent and your type.

○ Should I have more than one reel?

We do recommend separating reels by comedy and drama if you have enough footage of each type. That being said, CDs are looking more and more at clips rather than reels when looking for a specific type for a role, so dedicated comedy/drama reels are not as central as they once were to the process. A reel that combines comedy and drama can still be a useful tool when seeking representation, or to showcase your range to CDs casting multiple roles or projects.

○ What if I don't have enough footage for a reel?

We can help with that, we film clips intended for sharing as demo footage. You'd also be surprised. With just a  few solid clips you can make a very effective reel.

○ I'm waiting on some footage, what should I do?

A lot of filmmakers hold back footage for a variety of reasons. Maybe the final post-production isn't complete, maybe they don't want it out there before broadcast/release. If you know the footage should be available, be persistent, but also professional in requesting it. Otherwise, we can edit your reel now, and do an update later. Ideally, you're always working and always waiting for more footage. We keep your reels on file and can easily update them when you get more footage. If you're waiting on footage from an aired TV episode, we can capture that video from online for you. Just let us know you need that service.

○ How quickly will I receive my footage?
We provide you a first edit within 3 business days. You then have the option to give us notes, which we will then correct ASAP. If you are on a tight schedule, speak to us and we will do our best to accommodate you!

○ What's the process?

First, we will speak, in person or via the magical world of telecommunications, about your type, your representation and what you're looking for in your reel edit. Once we have a clear idea of the brand you want to present we will take your footage (provided to us in our dropbox, or via DVD or wetransfer), and, once you have provided all the proper materials, deliver you a first edit within 3 business days. You then have the option to give us notes, which we will then correct ASAP. If you are on a tight schedule, speak to us and we will do our best to accommodate you!

○ What format will the video be in?

We provide reels in .MOV or .MP4. If you need an alternate file type, please speak to us.

○ Is there a deposit?
Yes, we require a $50 deposit at time of consultation in order to book a shoot.
○ What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel before work begins, but once your edit is underway your deposit cannot be returned.
○ How do you accept payement?
At the moment, we accept cash and Venmo.
